Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has unveiled the first look at her new collection with fashion retailer New Look as she gears up to be the face of the shop’s new summer campaign.

The Derry singer’s new ‘edit’ which features everything from maxi-dresses, co-ords, shorts and sunglasses and went on sale on Thursday in New Look stores and on their website.

Taking to Instagram with a video of the pop-star, New Look said: “Nadine Coyle’s luxe looks for beach girls, city girls, and it-girls” in reference to a viral video of the singer in which she said she didn’t think of herself as a “beach girl”. Lucky shoppers can also be in with a chance to bag Girls Aloud tickets for their upcoming tour with a competition.

The collection is already proving popular with fans of both the singer and New Look with many singling out pieces for “looking so expensive."

"Well I know where I’ll be getting my tour outfit from. Can’t wait to see the full collection!!” A third said: “I am not exaggerating when I say I need everything The whole collection is so pretty,” with one simply putting: “*runs to new look*” one user wrote.

While other users praised the collection’s £23 sandals which “look so expensive”.

In a video uploaded to YouTube by New Look, the Derry star also looked back at some of her most famous looks.

Recalling one photograph of her in “robotic gloves,” the singer described it as “not a good look.”

“I was maybe about 18 years old, experimenting with all sorts of things. When a stylist says this looks good, it doesn’t mean you’ve to go along with it. It’s not a good look.”

The new clothing line comes as Nadine is set to embark on the tour with her fellow band mates, Cheryl, Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh.

The Girls Aloud Show begins in Dublin on May 17 with two shows in the 3Arena, before coming to Belfast for two nights on 20 and 21 May.

The tour marks the band’s first without Sarah Harding, who died in 2021 of breast cancer. It also has dates which will bring the singers, who won Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, to Cardiff, Newcastle and London, before wrapping up in Liverpool in June.

The band has said the tour will be a "celebration of Sarah, our music and our incredible fans”.

Last month, Nadine said she is “dead against” Girls Aloud performing any new covers on their reunion tour.

Appearing alongside bandmates Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl on BBC Radio 2 to speak with Scott Mills about their upcoming arena tour, the Derry native questioned the need to do cover songs compared to their own.

“I was like, ‘we’ve got so many songs of Girls Aloud as our own, why do we need to be doing this?’ she said.

“They [the other girls] like doing the covers, but I’m like: ‘we’ve already done so many’.

Cheryl negotiated by saying they could do some megamixes, but Mills did say the concerts may need to ‘last for five hours’ if they were to fit everything in.

Despite the new tour, the band will not be releasing new music, instead their managing told British Vogue the new dates will be focused on their “rich back catalogue and all the ground-breaking success they have achieved as a band.”
