The Belfast Giants have re-signed All-Star Scott Conway after a year away from the club. It’s a major statement of intent from the Northern Irish team who are desperate to get back to winning ways after failing to win a trophy this season.

It’s the Giants second big signing in a week, following the announcement of JJ Piccinich’s return.

Conway first joined the Giants for the 2021/22 season, when he scored a stunning 101 total points in 69 games, helping the Giants to Elite League and Challenge Cup double.

The following season, Conway hit 116 points in 72 games as the Giants won the treble. He was named Elite League Player of the Year.

Conway played in Slovakia last season for HK Dukla Trenčín where his goals helped the three-time Slovakian champions reach their domestic play-offs.
