It’s hard to justify putting £300m Casement Park ahead of underfunded NHS
It’s shaping up to be a hefty bill for the completion of west Belfast GAA ground Casement Park
Earlier in 2024, I was extremely disappointed when the Safeguarding the Union document – the proposal that saw the DUP return to Government – connected the Sub-Regional Stadia funding for football with the legacy of Euro 2028.
The implication being that the money first promised to football back in 2011 was somehow linked to a tournament that will be played 17 years later.
