A Co Armagh family has called for new restrictions on American XL bullies to cover all large dogs in Northern Ireland after their beloved pet was viciously mauled to death in front of them.

Edie and Martin Lasch from Lurgan watched in horror as a large Staffordshire bull terrier/American bulldog cross attacked their mini schnauzer Maggie.
