A terrorist jailed for possessing an arsenal of dissident weapons is believed to have been promoted to a New IRA leadership position.
Brian Calvan is considered so dangerous that hardline republicans Davy Jordan and Kevin Barry Murphy, who are on bail after being charged with directing terrorism, have been banned from contacting him.
