Woman who provided bogus reference for husband cleared to practise again as nurse in UK

A former nursing home manager who provided a false reference for her husband is to be allowed to practise as a nurse again in the UK after a 12-month suspension is complete.
Catalina Puiu, now a director of nursing at a Co Dublin residential home, said she lives with the “shame and regret” of her actions while she was a manager at Cherryvalley nursing home in east Belfast.
