Northern Ireland forecast: Warm weather and sunshine expected

Warm weather is expected on Thursday as a dry day with low cloud and mist clearing during the morning leaves long spells of warm sunshine.

It will be breezy at times around the coast and overall a maximum temperature of 20C.

By Thursday night, there will be a fine end to the day with some sunshine, then clear spells overnight.

Low cloud could form around some Irish Sea coasts later in the night, along with a minimum temperature of 8C.

By Friday, it will be rather cloudy with the best of any brightness in the west. It will be dry for much of the time, but patchy rain or showers are possible.

There will be light winds and a maximum temperature of 16C.

The outlook for Saturday to Monday will see some warm sunshine around on Sunday and Monday, but rather cloudy at times with showers.

Low cloud and drizzle is possible on Saturday.
