The Belfast Road in Newry has now re-opened following a crash in the area this morning.
One person has been taken to hospital.

There has been a one-vehicle crash on the Belfast Road, Newry.
Police and other emergency services are at the scene and the Newry-bound lane of the carriageway has been closed.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.

Road closure outside Ballymena

The Springmount Road in Clough, outside Ballymena, is currently closed due to a road traffic collision. Motorists are advised to take another route for their journey.

Main road closed due to crash

The A26 Crankill Road has been closed due to a crash at the Applegreen heading in the Ballymena direction. The PSNI are in attendance and road users have been advised to seek an alternative route.

Westlink crash

Delays are expected on the A12 Westlink towards York Street from Broadway this morning due to a crash.

Traffic is also busy on the A1 northbound approaching Hillsborough Road Roundabout, and on the M2 into Belfast from Fortwilliam through to Nelson Street.

Lisbellaw crash


The Tattygare Road in Lisbellaw fully reopened to motorists in the early hours of this morning following a crash yesterday evening. A teenager was seriously injured after the accident involving a car and a scrambler motorcycle.

Oily roads in Armagh

PSNI ABC posted on X at 6.55pm: "Officers are responding to a number of reports of oil on the roads within Armagh City and the surrounding areas. Please exercise extreme caution if travelling in the area. DFI have been advised and are in attendance."

The Armagh Road in Newry has now re-opened following a collision earlier today.

The Armagh Road in Newry is closed between the Mullaghglass Road and the roundabout at the Newry bypass due to a road traffic collision.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey.

A2 closed in one direction following crash

The A2 Belfast to Bangor Road is closed heading in the Belfast direction near Station Road  following a crash. Delays are expected.

Belfast road reopens after report of gas leak

Following reports of a gas leak on Short Strand at Mountpottinger Link this afternoon, the road was closed in one direction at Bridge End, except for buses and local residents. The road has now reopened.

The Belfast Road in Dunadry has been blocked due to a two vehicle road traffic collision.
Police are at the scene and drivers have been asked to find an alternate route for their journey.

The road reopened around 2pm on Friday.

The A2 Bangor Road has now fully reopened in both directions following a road traffic collision earlier today.

There are reports that the Creighton Road in Derriaghy is closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision. Road users have been advised to seek an alternative route.

Road 'could be closed for some time' after crash


The A2 Belfast to Bangor dual carriageway at Holywood is currently closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision at the folk museum. 

The road could remain closed for some time and motorists are advised to seek an alternative route. The PSNI said they will issue an update about the situation in due course.

The A2 Bangor Road is also closed at its junction with Ballysallagh Road affecting Belfast-bound traffic. PSNI are on scene diverting traffic onto Ballysallagh Road, Ballymoney Road and Ballygrainey Road.
