To those who never watched Ireland prior to the 2000s, you may be surprised to know that there was once a time when Ireland’s dominance over Scotland actually flipped the other way.

After 13 wins in their previous 14 games against the Scots, with the last nine of them going the way of Andy Farrell’s side, Ireland are heavy favourites to win the Six Nations on Saturday when they clash at the Aviva Stadium, needing just a point to finish top of the tree.
