Cliftonville are planning to offer manager Jim Magilton an extension to his contract following the club’s much celebrated Irish Cup success.

When the former Northern Ireland captain took charge of the Reds last summer he was handed a two-year deal becoming the first full-time boss at Solitude and now the Belfast Telegraph understands the powers that be want to ensure he stays longer term.
